"No...I'm done." -Serbuan maut 2

Serbaun maut 2 starts right from the end of its predecessor. This time its not a minimal plot but entry into the world of crime lords. The diversity of the plot makes it very interesting, which gets intensified by the brutal fight sequences. Director Gareth Evans did a fantastic job on upgrading the cinematography style that was lacking in the first part. Actor Iko Uwais (Rama) as usual aced the fighting sequences, Arifin Putra (Uco) acted brilliantly. This is a slow-paced sequel with intense action between it.

However, due to the change of pace in comparison to its predecessor, there are certain moments where the story dips down a little and shifts to bore, but again gets interesting a little later. Another negative is the screen-time of Yayan Ruhian (Mad Dog) which is very less and is absolutely unnecessary. Also, this time after getting severe cuts and a bullet-wound, our protagonist fights and fights without any loss of energy (which was different in case of The Raid: Redemption).

My final verdict: Another power-packed action movie with a mixture of crime lords and mafias. Worth the time! My overall score: 8.8⭐/10
