"We dance alone. That's why we only play electronic music" -The Lobster (2015)

The Lobster is a unique, unpredictable, and one-of-its-kind philosophical/metaphorical masterpiece. The movie is directed by Yorgos Lanthimos (also the director of The Killing of a Sacred Deer). This movie is largely a romantic drama set in a dystopian future, with a philosophical/metaphorical ending.

Colin Farrell (David) has given a brilliant performance. Rachel Weiz (Short-sighted woman) and the other cast members too brilliantly acted. The cinematography, the music is superb and on-spot.

My final verdict: This is not a comedy movie. But, mind you, this is a complex movie. If you're into a complex-plot fan then this movie is definitely a must-watch!

My overall score: 8.9⭐/10

Rotten Tomatoes: 87% / 65% (audience score) Available on: NETFLIX, Amazon Prime Video
