"Reality is the only thing that's real" -Ready Player One (2018)

Set in the year 2045, Ready Player One is based on the novel under the same name by American author Ernest Cline. The movie is directed by none other than Steven Spielberg. The prime highlight of this movie is its visuals and animations. They are outstanding! The plot is good and doesn't seem to bore much. Ready Player One is a fun movie with a liitle humour, adventure and action in between. Tye Sheridan (Wade Watts/ Parzival) acted brilliantly in both the worlds.

However, more than the pop-culture references, there are plotholes. But the pop-culture references doesn't affect much. Also, the movie mainly focuses on Tye Sheridan and somewhat ignores the character development of other actors.

Bonus: If you haven't read the novel, you'll enjoy this movie the most!

My final verdict: Fun and engaging with stunning visuals. Worth the time!

My overall score: 7.6⭐/10
